Care Instructions: Keep the Adventure Alive
Hey there, adventurer!
Your Wandrhood gear is built to join you on every trail, summit, and campfire session. To ensure your hoodie stays soft, fits perfectly, and keeps its vibrant design for years to come, we recommend a little extra love on laundry day.
Here is how to care for your gear:
1. The Cold Standard
Always wash your hoodies in cold water (30°C or below). Not only does this prevent the dreaded "shrinking incident," but it’s also much kinder to the planet.
2. Inside-Out is In
Before tossing your hoodie in the wash, turn it inside-out. This protects the custom print from the friction of the machine, keeping the artwork crisp and clear adventure after adventure.
3. Gentle Does It
Use a mild detergent and wash with similar colors. Avoid bleach or harsh fabric softeners—they can break down the fibers and the ink over time.
4. Skip the Heat (The Air-Dry Secret)
The high heat of a tumble dryer is the fastest way to age a hoodie. For best results, hang or lay flat to air dry. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest heat setting possible and remove it while it’s still a tiny bit damp.
5. Ironing? Take a Hike.
Our hoodies are best enjoyed with a few "adventure wrinkles," but if you absolutely must iron, never iron directly over the printed design. Keep the iron on a low setting and turn the garment inside-out first.
Why Cold Water?
Aside from saving energy, washing in cold water keeps the cotton fibers "happy" and prevents the custom ink from fading. It’s better for your hoodie, your wallet, and the great outdoors we all love to explore.
Now, get back out there! Your gear is ready for the next peak.
