Our story began with a mountain—Kilimanjaro, to be exact. After university, I had the incredible opportunity to work as an international tour guide, a job that took me to some of the most breathtaking places on Earth. Among those experiences, climbing Kilimanjaro three times stands out as a proud accomplishment. Each climb was unique, with different routes offering new challenges and perspectives, and each summit left me in awe of the world’s natural beauty.
But life has a way of throwing curveballs. Years later, an unfortunate incident saw my hard drives and camera equipment stolen and all my pictures from those climbs wiped out. The memories of standing at the summit, the sense of achievement, and the stories I wanted to share were suddenly intangible—no pictures, no proof, just the vivid recollections in my mind. It was a tough pill to swallow, but it also sparked an idea. How could I share my proudest moments, even without photos? How could I connect with others who might have their own stories to tell?
The answer came in the form of customizable hoodies. Wandrhood was born from the desire to create something meaningful—something that could carry the essence of an adventure, a memory, or a milestone.
